Dr. J. Don Jackson, Jr., general surgeon at Parkview Regional Hospital, offers quality, compassionate care to inpatients and outpatients. He specializes in the diagnosis and management of hernia repair, gallbladder removal, colonoscopies, thyroid, stomach procedures, ulcer repair, breast biopsy, hemorrhoid surgery, and more.  Parkview Regional Hospital has operating rooms that are fully-equipped for a variety of procedures.

Dr. Thomas Salzer and Dr. Steven Wright, otolaryngologists (Ear, Nose and Throat) with Central Texas ENT, perform procedures related to ears, sinus, tonsils, head and neck cancers, and more.

An orthopedic physician with Parkview Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Dr. Michael Trice offers the broad scope of orthopedic and sports medicine treatments including joint replacement, trauma and fractures, and ACL reconstruction. Dr. Trice completed fellowships in both joint reconstruction and sports medicine and has been a pioneer in the field of cartilage restoration.

Once ranked First in Back & Neck Surgery on the West Coast by Money Magazine (2003), board certified neurosurgeon, Dr. Steven Zielinski performs neurosurgical procedures at Parkview Regional Hospital.  He treats back and leg pain and numbness, neck and arm pain and numbness, carpal tunnel and ulnar nerve problems. 

Women in need of gynecologic surgery need not travel out of town for care. Dr. Jeff Chancellor of Waco Center for Women's Health sees patients in the Parkview Specialty Clinic and perform surgery at Parkview Regional Hospital.

Our expanded surgery department houses three surgery suites, a four-bed pre-op area, a six-bed recovery unit, and a cystoscopy/endoscopy suite.
